This case is excellent overall. I use it traveling throughout Iraq in Blackhawks and fixed wing aircraft all of the time. Not a scratch on my Ipod. Practically dust proof. Dust can get in thru the speaker holes, so still use a screen protector. My only concern may be the cover for the camera is usually a bit of a discomfort to remove.
